Walking Assistance Mobility Harness

Shown is Dominique’s harness, a comfortable, effective walking harness is made in betathane and allows an owner who needs support in walking to walk safely alongside her horse. It features a wide, well padded saddle, breast strap and crupper to assure that the harness stays in place. The walking handle is made from aluminum covered with soft leather.

Miniature Horse Harness Dorsal Style

 The lightest, most exciting and animal-friendly carts ever designed for miniature equines are the 21st century dorsal hitch carts. The first of these, the Regal Millennium Mini, was designed in 2000, and since then the incredible ease of use, comfort and maneuverability of these carts has won them a legion of fans and has spawned a host of developments such as the "City Mini", the "Spyder" and the soon to be released "Springtail". Traditional harness cannot be used on these dorsal hitch carts, and Chimacum Tack is proud to have developed harness specifically for this growing class of cart. This harness is designed for comfort and convenience. Available for mini’s and ponies.

Built of Betathane with stainless hardware each part is made to fit your horse properly and allow freedom of movement.

• The saddle is wide, well padded and designed to facilitate comfortable pulling.
• The bridle includes a curved crown, rounded cupped blinds, flexible winker stays (open bridles available on request).
• The breeching and breast collar are both designed to keep the saddle comfortably in place.
• The crupper is soft, folded and stitched leather which is the most comfortable style and never rubs.
• Lines are 5/8” .
• Available in Black, Brown, Red, Blue, Green betathane.

• Made of Betathane with a wonderful new breathable “pillow pad” material we use for pads on our horse harness.
• The hasp is welded to a metal plate sewn inside the padded saddle.
• One advantage to this type of harness/cart combination is that when the driver is seated in the cart the shaft is lifted up which completely removes any weight from the dogs back.
